Pineapple Cucumber Smoothie for Weight Loss

The combination of pineapple and cucumber in this recipe makes it an effective smoothie for weight loss. Cucumbers are mostly made of water and it contains almost zero calories. It is a low-density food that makes you feel full longer and reduces hunger which aids weight loss.

The vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in pineapples protect the cells against free radical damage. Enzyme bromelain present in pineapples helps to reduce inflammation, prevent blood clotting and inhibit tumor growth. Water – 1/4 cup (Optional)

Procedure:

Peel and cut the cucumber and banana into slices.Toss spinach, pineapple, and cucumber into the blender.Then add banana slices, fresh lime juice, and coconut milk into the blender.Blend it on high speed until smooth and pour it into your serving glass.Drink this green smoothie immediately after blending to get rid of excess calories and thereby to reduce the weight.

This is a 100% vegan and a gluten-free smoothie that do not contain cow’s milk or yogurt thus making it suitable for people with gluten and lactose intolerance. This smoothie is also suitable for diabetics because it does not contain any added sweetener.
